We had a busy holiday season just like everyone else. I have to admit though that it was nice not to have to work during the Holidays this year. I got to enjoy the kids and get things done and not on a time crunch.
We had activities from our new elf, Snowflake Everest show up, to Callies choir performance, to sledding at Legoland, visits with Santa, the Temple, Currans Birthday of course, Pajama Day at school, School parties and awesome playdates with friends. We had to get new stockings this year because ours are in Storage so I thought it would be fun to just buy cheap ones and let the kids create their own. They came up with their own designs themselves and I love how they turned out.
I love the spirit that the Holidays bring and I am always sad to see it go. I look forward to it every year. I just want to make sure that amidst all of the craziness my kids remember the Birth of our Savior.
