Christmas 2014

We had a fantastic Christmas this year.  We tried to keep it simple and told the kids they could only choose one thing they really wanted for Christmas.  So to keep the magic alive we got them the one thing they really wanted, but we also wanted to teach them that that's not what Christmas means, so we got them some things pertaining to church as well.
On Christmas eve we made cookies, went to the park, and rode bikes. Then that night they got their Christmas Jammies and then we drove around and looked at lights.  The kids were so excited.
The next morning they got up, we said our prayers and went downstairs.  The kids took their time this year it was nice to just soak it all in and enjoy it.
Callie got the Shopkins she was wanting so bad.  Curran got Zoomer the Dino, he wanted SOOOO bad.  He had been asking for it for months.  Conrad got the Paw patrol toys and look out he wanted so bad.  I was able to find a signed baseball bat of Tony Gwynn for Clint.  I was Soooo excited to give it to him.  He was pretty excited himself.  He said this was the gift of all gifts and couldn't be topped.  (Tony Gywnn is his baseball hero who played for the Padres, he is Mr. Padre)!
Christmas night we went up to Clint's sisters for dinner.  I always love getting together with family.
I can't wait to see what this next year brings our family.
