We Have Grass

After battling the elements and crazy rock hard dirt, our yard is starting to grow. I know that you are thinking, Man that is ugly. Well, if that is the way you feel fine, you can come over and do it. That would make my job so much easier.
Becky's Tulips are alive and in full effect.

Here is the first showing of the grass this is on the west side of the house.
Here is right next to the house on the east side, where you can see a little of what we like to call grass.
Last, but not least, here is right next to the tulips, by what Becky is calling a rock wall. I call a pain once I have to start mowing.

We are home

We finally made it home and all is well for now. The Dr's diagnosed him as asthmatic and when he gets sick it affects his oxygen levels. This time when he got sick he had Metapneumovirus. It is very similar to RSV but it's not RSV. We were there for 2 nights and 3 days. He bounced back really fast this time which was nice and we got to get out of the room and play while they observed him being off oxygen. He will be on a medication for the next six months that will hopefully prevent him from having to go into the hospital again. Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts and your prayers. We know they were truly answered.

Once Curran could get out of his bed, he went straight for the window and wanted to look out the window. He sat and played on in the window for a good half hour just watching people and pounding on it.

This was Curran asleep on the couch at home the day I took him into the hospital.

Once again we are back in the hospital with Curran with Respiratory problems. It started last friday with him running a fever and a small cough. This continued into the weekend and slowly the cough got worse and he quite eating. By monday you couldn't even get him to wake up. He slept over 21 hours in a 24 hour period. I took him in at the same time Callie had her 4 year check up (which she is doing fantastic). They told me it was a sinus infection and gave me antibiotics. Well I didn't know the antibiotic he perscribed was the one that made his stomach sick and on top of not eating, it was not good for him to have that antibiotic with out food in his stomach. So I called back this morning (tues) and just asked them to get me another antibiotic and they told me just to bring him back in. Well I did and I just asked them to check his oxygen levels. Keep in mind that they want your oxygen levels to be 90 and above to keep you out of the hospital. When I got there it was 88. They did a breathing treatment and after the treatment it was at 85. They waited a little longer and it had droped all the way to 80... Well dang! At this point they hooked him right up to oxygen and told me to rush to the hospital. In fact one of the nurses rode over with me to keep his oxygen on him. We are unsure of what he has at this time. Maybe RSV (again) but we don't know. We do know it is not Pnemonia. As of tonight he is on a full liter of oxygen and from what the nurses have told me that is a lot for a little guy to be on. So who knows what is going to happen. But on a positive note, he is drinking and eating a little bit and they only had to poke him three times to get his IV in. They did two pokes in the the head and the veins blew so they called a nurse up from the ER and had him try the arm and they got it right away. So the IV this time is in his arm. They have it borded and wrapped so he can't bend his arm or get to it.
It is really hard to sit back and watch my little guy have to go through this again. It is so hard to have to sit and hold my son down while they put an IV into his arm. It is so hard to sit and watch him be so sick...But I KNOW my Savior LOVES him and is watching out for him and our family. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and your prayers at this time.

Happy 4th Birthday to my Sweet Girl

I cannot believe she is four! She turned four on March 29th. She has been so excited about her Birthday and has been talking about it for months now. She lights up my life and makes me smile every time that I think about her.

Curran is her best buddy in the entire world

Just a few of the things Callie wanted to do for her birthday was go to McDonalds with her Best Friend Aubrey. So we took the two of them to McDonalds for her birthday...One of the other things she wanted to do was take my parents to Chuck e Cheese's. She loves that place and that was what she wanted to do. So on Saturday we went to Chuck e Cheese's and we all had a great time.

She also wanted a Purple Tinker Bell Cake for her Birthday, so that was what she got

Her best surprise of all came at the end of the day when Clint's parents showed up and surprised her. They got to the house about 9:00. They knocked on the door so we let her answer it and she yelled to Clint "It's your parents" and started to giggle and then she started jumping up and down and went and gave them both a big hug. She was SOOOO excited to see them. Thank you to everyone that made this little girls birthday wishes come true. She is already talking about next year and what she wants to do for her Birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALLIE... Mommy and Daddy Love you!!!
