We are home

We finally made it home and all is well for now. The Dr's diagnosed him as asthmatic and when he gets sick it affects his oxygen levels. This time when he got sick he had Metapneumovirus. It is very similar to RSV but it's not RSV. We were there for 2 nights and 3 days. He bounced back really fast this time which was nice and we got to get out of the room and play while they observed him being off oxygen. He will be on a medication for the next six months that will hopefully prevent him from having to go into the hospital again. Thank you so much everyone for your thoughts and your prayers. We know they were truly answered.

Once Curran could get out of his bed, he went straight for the window and wanted to look out the window. He sat and played on in the window for a good half hour just watching people and pounding on it.
This was Curran asleep on the couch at home the day I took him into the hospital.

Oh Becky... I am so sorry. I am so glad you are home, but man, what you guys have been through is hard. The IV's, the worry, the meds, no sleep, did I mention all the WORRY?!?!? I hope he gets well soon. It sounds like you were smart (and/or inspired) to take him in when you did and get things tested.
