Family Update

Just a family Update. Clint and I are doing great...Clint is loving his job at Orange Soda (Internet Marketing not the drink.) He is currently doing Paper Click, and is the Key Word Creator Manager. He is very happy where he is right now and hopes to be able to do it on his own eventually.
I am about 16 weeks prego and actually feeling pretty good (compared to my other two pregnancies). I don't feel well at nights so I normally don't eat dinner. I am just busy trying to wrangle two active kids. Teaching Callie to read and trying to keep Curran healthy.
As for Callie, she is as crazy as ever. I saw that nicely and for those that know her will understand. She is very active and gets very hyper especially at nights when it should be time for her to settle down. We just started a reading program with her and she is doing pretty good with it. She gets excited because at the end of the lesson she knows she gets to write the letters she learned with her new crayons and she gets a treat. Some of her favorite things are playing house with her dolls and stuffed animals and she loves to do art projects. (If any of you have seen Callie's art you would understand that an art project consists of a million pieces of paper piled on top of each other with a big glob of glue).
And as for this little guy...He just cracks me up. He plays by himself pretty well, but his Best Friend is Callie. She is the first person he asks for when he wakes up. He loves Toy Story! And when I say love that is an understatement. This poor little guy just can't stay healthy. He will get a simple cold and his oxygen levels will drop down into the 80's. It's really sad. In fact right now he is battling something that he is having a hard time breathing and it was just a week ago he got over another something. So we are hoping we avoid the hospital this winter.

Well it's a short simple family update...But jut letting everyone know we are doing great!

Callie's Belly Pain

So last Thursday Callie started complaining her stomach was hurting and of course I just thought ok well go in go to the bathroom and you will feel better. It was also close to dinner time so I thought she was just hungry. Well she went to the bathroom she ate dinner and she still had a really bad belly ache. It was so bad it kept her up a good part of the night. I felt so bad because she does have a high pain tolerance and if she is complaining it must really be hurting. Well we got through the night the next day she was fine and then it hit her again on Saturday night. She was just rolling on the floor in pain. I felt so bad! I called my Sister in Law and asked her if she knew of a flu bug that was going around and she said ya one that sounded just like the same thing Callie was going through. I thought well great this will pass. Well she didn't have pain again Sunday and then Monday night it hit full force again...It started about 5 and didn't go away until like 3 in the morning. She will fall asleep ok because she is so tired but she can't stay asleep. I would try so many different things but nothing worked. I called the Dr. first thing Tuesday morning and had her in the Dr. that morning. They determined she might have acid reflux and gave me antacids and they also wanted to run a urine culture...Mind you it took me all day to get her to pee in the cup. They also wanted to do a belly X-Ray. Well we got the results back from that yesterday and they determined that she was REALLY BACKED UP. She was constipated. Well duh! Who would have thought. I sure didn't. She was going to the bathroom on a regular basis and it looked normal to me... so needless to say we are doing a clense on her system and she is going to be living on the potty for the next couple of days...So we will see how bad it is when it hits...Lets hope this takes care of her belly aches and we start getting more sleep cause this Mommy is tired.
