Conrads Fevers

So starting back in January Conrad came down with a pretty high fever that lasted about 5 days.  He didn't have any other symptoms other than a little runny nose.  I took him into the Dr. but nothing came of it.  In February he came down with more fevers, exactly a month later.  This time the fevers didn't last as long but they were still pretty high.  About 3 weeks after that around the end of February he came down with  more fevers that lasted 5 days again, but this time he had this really weird red spot on his foot (which is still there by the way).  This time I took him in immediately because I was concerned there was something wrong.  The Dr. wanted to take a urine sample.  Because he is so young they had to do a catheter.  Which he took like a champ.  He cried a little bit, but for the most part was a brave little boy.  Next they sent us over to the hospital to have blood taken.  He was a champ there too!  Well, to make a long story short everything came back just fine, the Dr thinks he just had 3 separate viruses.  We just need to figure out what that thing is on his foot.  I thought it was ring worm, and tried some medication but it didn't go away.  His fevers had Clint and I concerned for a bit because there could have been so many things going on in his body we didn't know about.  Thank goodness we were able to have all the tests run and find out that everything WAS ok.

It's been a few week since I posted.  I have had a lot going on.  But here is a few weeks worth of pictures!

 Seriously, He still fills up his size 6 night time diapers!  hahahhaha

No, this is not the trash can at my house.  This is at work!  It's always interesting to work parties where there is alcohol served.  There was underage drinking at this particular party, and people trying to get free alcohol.  Lot's of crazy drunks.  Kind of interesting. 

 You can't see it very well, but there is lotion smeared all over my cupboard and wall.

 This poor little guy was sick for about a week with high fevers. 

 He had this really weird rash on his foot was really red and dry.

 They ran some blood test and some urine tests (which they had to use a catheter to get).  He had, had 3 really high fevers in 6 weeks and they wanted to make sure everything was OK.  They just determined that he had 3 separate viruses.

 This one is his latest.  He is trying to potty train himself.  He goes poop almost once a day on the potty.  He has recently started peeing.  But not all the time.  I still keep a diaper on him because he does pee in it a lot still.

I really do LOVE my family and the crazy adventures we endure together.  It is always a learning process  for sure.
