I CANNOT believe that this little, sweet, easy boy of mine is 6. I love him more and more every day. He is so smart and loves to learn, do crafts, read, play with legos, play battles with any and all toys. He has a crazy awesome imagination, and I love it! I love his freckles so much and his bright green eyes.
He knows he can't watch tv until he gets his homework done and so after lunch every day he will get a notebook bust out his homework and reading just so he can do what he wants. I love that he has learned the discipline so early.
He wanted an Emmett cake from "The Lego Movie" this year and lets just say it was for sure a pinterest fail. But he thought the cake was pretty awesome so I guess that's all that matters. He got a new bike for his birthday, legos, a remote control car, and a skate board. He was so happy with everything he got. I loved watching his excitement.
We didn't do a party this year but I let him choose a friend he could take to lunch with us on his birthday and he chose his good friend Henry to go with us and he chose McDonalds (of course). Then that sunday we had all of the cousins come down for cake and ice cream. He told me every day that his birthday wasn't over until he celebrated with his cousins. Hahahah
