I was put into Young Womens in the Middle of December and I was so nervous about it, but was So excited. I had been feeling for a long time a change was coming into my life. Clint had just been put in as the Ward Mission Leader and so that's what I thought it was. We have sister Missionaries in our ward which made it so I was helping out a lot with them, so again, that's what I thought the change was. So one night in December a counselor came to our house and asked me if I would be willing to be the First Counselor in Young Women's. I was a little shocked. Now here i am 5 months later and IN LOVE with these girls. I am over the Mia Maids. There are 4 girls in the Mia Maids and I love these girls as if they are my own. We have no Beehives which makes it so weird. We have 5 Laurels but 4 of them will be graduating this year, so that will leave us with only 5 girls. Although we will have 3 more girls coming in this year because they will be turning 12. It is so fun getting to know them and all of the fun activities that we have. I LOVE the President (Kim Orlando) and the other counselor (Katie Miller) and the other advisors that I work with. I can't wait to bond more with these girls and get to know them more.

It's funny that we both have the same calling. I was called within two weeks of moving into my new ward. I love it too. Getting to know these girls on a personal level and seeing all the struggles they have to go through, but seeing how strong they are is so amazing. I'm so grateful to be a part of their lives, during a time they will always remember.
