When I was a kid the opposing teams pitcher had a side arm pitch (basically, she was just a really bad pitcher). Anyway, she threw one and it smacked me on my thigh. I had a gigantic bruise but nothing like this! War wounds are great aren't they?
That is one crazy injury. Megan took a line drive to her shin and the Dr. had her boil chewing tobacco, soak a rag with the juice, and put it on her leg. It stunk like crazy, but it helped. She was getting blood clots and they were going to have to slice her open to get rid of them, but the tobacco took care of it.
Clint and I have been married for 11 years and have 3 very loving, energetic Children. Callie is 9 and LOVES people. She has the most loving and kind heart. She loves to be creative. She is in 4th grade and loves school. Curran is in 1st and loves it. He is really thriving and loves everything. He is always wanting to play with friends of try new things. He is very creative and still loves to snuggle with me. Conrad is our fire cracker. He is so stubborn but so sweet at the same time. It's hard to be upset with him. He loves the ninja turtles and calls himself Mikey. Clint loves his new job. We are loving living here in Southern California and love the beach, sports and watching movies together. We have grown so much over the past year and look forward to growing more on this amazing journey.

All Brad could say was "HOLY COW" when I showed your posts about this. Ahhhhh! I cannot imagine the pain!
thanks for keeping us updated! Read the comments about blood clots...be sure to talk to your dr. about that! Hope it is feeling better!
I guess it looks like it is getting better... how does it feel? It still blows my mind to look at it.
I left the Jay comment...was on his computer.
Sheryl was over and had to show us. Steve says, "wow" and I'm wondering if you cried? Hope it heals fast. Love you guys, the Madsen's.
