Life is the Pits

Okay so two weeks ago the nine month flu sickness started. I was so sick! I had to have Clint come home from work...I had my mom fly to Arizona to come help me get packed up and moved back to Utah...well now that I am here in Utah things are a little bit better, but it is only because I am on anti nausea medication, called Zofran. I was pucking my guts out, and would just lay there all day, my mom has been a saint and has been able to take care of Callie. In order to get the medication, because I don't currently have insurance in the state of Utah (I only have insurance valid in California) I was going to have to go to the ER and have it issued to me and then fill out paper work to get reimbursed for my medicine and the ER bill, well that wasn't going to happen. Keep in mind these pills are like gold, they are 30 bucks a pill and they work so well for me, so I need to have them to function. Well thanks to my Sister in Law who's Dad is a Dr., he was able to issue me a perscription for the pills and then because my Sister In Law picked them up, she got the Physicians dicount and they only cost me $1 a pill. I was so excited...so right now I am functing but only until about 9:00 at night and then the pill wears off and I have to go to bed. Thank Goodness for moddern medicine.

I'm sorry you are so sick. When I was pregnant the pills didn't work. They just made me feel very drugged and loopy. I'm so glad they are working for you though! Especially during this busy time for you!

Oh man that stinks!! I'm sorry youre so sick...no fun at all. Holy Crap though I can't believe you were able to get Zofran for that cheap. I always had to go with Phenegran and it didn't work that great and knocked me out cuz Zofran was so expensive.

Oh Becky! I had no idea you were so sick! Poor girl- that is totally not fun at all. I hope it is just a first trimester thing. The whole insurance thing is a joke isn't it!! I am still dealing with medical bills from December when Paul went to the ER. Calling back and forth and back and forth. Oh man, I can't imagine having to deal with what you went through or would have had to go through. That is such a great blessing to have family in law that could help out so much! I am so happy about that for you :)

Congrats on your pregnancy! That's so exciting! I'm sure Callie will be a great big sister. It seems like she's grown up so much the last few months. If you some extra help this summer, you know where we live. I'll be done with school in June.
