An Emergency Room Visit

Well, I was right the stupid dumb A doctor at the Urgent Care was wrong. A mother's insticts are always right. Well, Callie was getting worse and she was working way TOO hard to breath and I was getting really concerned, so I decided to call her Dr. today and explained to him her symptoms. He said oh yea she has croop which she needs a steroid treatment. Then I went on to explain to him about her labored breathing and he said, oh she needs a breathing treatment and some steroids for her croop. I told him that the Dr. at the Urgent care perscribed her Amoxicillian and he just laughed and said that was a waste. Well we took her to the emergency room tonight for breathing treatments and steroids for her croop. After four different treatments of steroids through a nebulizer she is breathing somewhat back to normal. They said that if she would have retracted back to her labored breathing they would have had to keep her over night, thank goodness we didn't have to do that. I was so worried for her and I am so glad that she is doing much better.

poor Callie!!

We went through that with Josh last year. We had to buy the nebulizer, which has come in handy since.

Glad she's breathing better!
